After the change of ownership to Salkin, the car remained in his collection for over twenty years, until the 1990s. The current owner keeps a letter signed by Lemmon himself confirming its authenticity. Its semi-monocoque structure and six-cylinder engine XK I6 from 4.2 litres they guaranteed it significant performance for the time, with a maximum speed higher than 240 km/hthanks to his 246 HP 263 lb-ft of couple.
