Ivanka Trump, the daughter of the former US president, testified on Tuesday before the parliamentary committee seeking to shed light on Donald Trump’s role in the January 6, 2021 storming of the Capitol. “She answers questions. She doesn’t elaborate, but she does answer,” committee chair Bennie Thompson told CNN. “She came out on her own, that’s of great value.”
