From fragmented channels to a single omnichannel experience
It remains a challenge for many fashion brands: different sales channels that run in parallel but are not fully connected.
Things work differently with Itsperfect. While most ERP solutions rely on interfaces to an external retail solution, Itsperfect developed its own retail module eight years ago. The big advantage is that brands work in a single system with a central database – a “single source of truth” – regardless of whether it is customer data, orders or returns. All information flows in real time between the back office and the cash register, in both directions.

The new POS system was developed with store employees in mind. The user interface is intuitive – comparable to a web shop – and impresses with a fresh look and feel and a clear checkout process.
Sales staff can easily switch between different sales scenarios: from direct purchases to click & collect and ship-from-store to returns processing. Features such as applying justified discounts and using it in dark or light mode also contribute to user-friendliness. In addition, the POS system can be fully adapted to your own brand identity and used on any device.
In addition, the POS system supports modern retail processes such as:
- Picking and shipping webshop orders from the store
- Issuing and redeeming gift cards
- Digital delivery of receipts
- Processing refunds via debit or credit card
Real-time insights as a control tool
An important part of the POS system is the processing of data in real time. All transactions are recorded and processed directly in Itsperfect’s ERP system.
This gives brands continuous insight into sales performance, inventory levels and customer behavior. Dashboards provide users with the appropriate authorizations with a direct overview of what is happening in the store. It is also possible to view receipts from all branches.
Inventory management is also becoming easier: branch employees can access stocks from other locations, move items between branches and react directly to availability. The webshop inventory is available in real time at the checkout. At the same time, store inventory can be displayed in the webshop for drop shipping and click & collect to support a comprehensive omnichannel experience. All functions are of course secured by appropriate authorizations and logging.
Omnichannel in practice

Functions such as click & collect, ship-from-store and cross-branch goods movement are fully integrated into daily processes. Branches are automatically notified if, for example, an online shop order needs to be shipped to a customer. This eliminates the need for brands to link separate systems together.
Promotions such as graduated discounts or bundle offers can also be easily implemented in both online and offline sales.
