Ellen Jokikunnas, who bought the winery in Italy, updates the news about the sunny destination. The apartment bought for renovation has brought with it a lot of cleaning and also unpleasant surprises.
Jokikunnas says on social media that the family that arrived in Italy does not live alone in the house. Uninvited guests live in the winemaking room.
– We still have a bit of negotiating to do with the rats in our winemaking room, who will live here from now on, Jokikunnas writes in his Instagram post.

The video still shows an unorganized space with accessories suitable for winemaking. A squirming rat can be seen on top of the cistern, to which Jokikunnas is fluttering.
– Hello rat friend, leave here in the other direction, he instructs in the video.
Rats cannot stay in the farm, because we want it to be a functional place. In one way or another, the eviction of rats seems to miss the animal-loving Jokikunnas. He likes them.
– It’s really difficult for me, when I also love rats, the presenter reveals.
Wine farm
Jokikunnas bought a house in Puglia, southern Italy, in April. At that time, he revealed that the farm, which was in poor condition, was the renovation target of his dreams. So the condition of the farm did not come as a surprise.
– This approximately 150-year-old winery officially became our second home last night. Well, true to our style, it’s a full renovation project, Jokikunnas gushed on the day of purchase.
The family arrived in Italy during June, when Jokikunnas updated his Instagram account with a video summary of the trip and the arrival.

– Arrived. At home, he wrote at the time.
– Maybe one day in the near future we will start cleaning up the rat droppings and everything.
Jokikunnas ran the Master Cleaners Suomi program, but now with the winery he has gotten into the cleaning business himself. Pete Anikari
