The excitement started in the UEFA U19 European Championship Qualifiers. In the first match of Group 5, Italy and Germany shared their trump cards. The match played at Myyrmaen Football Stadium was the scene of a goal duel.
The tough match ended in a 2-2 draw with mutual goals and both teams left the field with one point each.
Germany’s goals were scored by Matanovic and Rhein. Italy’s goals came from Miretti and Gnonto.
The second matches in the group will be played on March 26. Belgium – Germany fight will start at 12:00 and Italy – Finland match will start at 17:00.
