Italy talks to SpaceX about 1.5 billion deal: “Largest project of this kind in Europe”

Italy is in advanced talks with Elon Musk’s space company SpaceX over a deal to supply secure telecommunications to the Italian government. Business news agency ‘Bloomberg’ reports this based on insiders. It would be the largest project of this kind in Europe. The possible deal would involve no less than 1.5 billion euros.
