Jadon Sancho is expected to leave Manchester United this summer. Borussia Dortmund is currently not planning any return. Instead, the trail could lead to Italy.
According to agreed media reports, Juventus Turin deals with an obligation by ex-BVB star Jadon Sancho.
According to “Sky Sports”, the Italian football giant is already in contact with Manchester United to explore a possible deal.
The Red Devils are said to demand the equivalent of around 29 million euros (£ 25 million) for Sancho.
Juventus supposedly already in contact with Sancho
In the summer of 2021, the 25-year-old switched from Borussia Dortmund to the English record champions for the rumored transfer fee of around 85 million euros. Sancho could not meet the great expectations. Last season the right wing played for Chelsea FC.
The Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio also reports on the advertising of Juventus around Sancho. There have already been “positive contacts” with the player, the reporter writes on his own side.
Manchester United would probably not put Sancho in the way.
Sancho comeback? BVB has “other ideas”
His ex-club Borussia Dortmund will probably not throw his hat in the ring.
“I have the greatest respect for Jadon what he did for Borussia Dortmund. I can understand that questions come to him again and again,” Borussia Dortmund’s sports director Sebastian Kehl introduced in a media round on the sidelines of the club World Cup. However, the BVB official then immediately took the wind out of the sails: “We have other ideas at the moment.”
Sancho had spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and had had his class flash again at the time.
