Italian Uli Forte is the new DSC trainer

For Arminia Bielefeld, the new season starts in six weeks in the 2nd Bundesliga. The club separated from ex-coach Kramer shortly before the end of the season. Now the new coach has been chosen.

Three weeks after being relegated from the Bundesliga, Arminia Bielefeld has found a new head coach. Uli Forte has signed a contract at the Alm until June 30, 2024. The 48-year-old Italian was last under contract in Switzerland with Yverdon Sport FC. Bielefeld parted ways with Frank Kramer at the end of the season, and interim coach Marco Kostmann was no longer able to prevent DSC from being relegated to the Bundesliga for the eighth time.

“We look forward to working with Uli. He convinced us in the intensive and very good discussions with his emotional nature, his positive energy and many years of experience as a head coach,” said Bielefeld’s sporting director Samir Arabi: “Together we want to 2nd Bundesliga to build a new foundation to stabilize and further develop our team.”
