With good prospects for the ascent, a third division club in Italy throws out its trainer. The reason for this is strange. What happens afterwards is much more.

Curiosity in the third Italian league. The second in the table Ternana Calcio had surprisingly released its trainer, Ignazio Abate, on Thursday evening, although one is promising in the promotion race. Italian media report that the reason for the sudden expulsion was not in the sporting area. Rather, the club’s president, Stefano d’Aleessandro, was dissatisfied that his son Mattya got too little time in his view.

It became even more weird when the role was reverse on Friday morning, the club undressed the outline. According to the Italian sports journalist Nicolò Schira, a five -hour crisis session between the players and the president should have been preceded. Apparently they were able to convince their boss to withdraw his termination for the trainer.

The phrase also led to the cancellation of the press conference planned for 12 noon, in which Abate’s successor Fabio Liverani was to be presented. His obligation had already been announced.

Now Abate can continue. The 38-year-old former right-back, who became Vice European Champion with the “Squadra Azzurra” in 2012 and spent most of his career at AC Milan, took over the office in Ternana last summer.

It should now be exciting what effects the unprecedented back and forth has on the promotion race and the further cooperation between the coach and president.
