The Italian soccer champions AC Milan have beaten Udinese Calcio at the start of the new Serie A season. Ante Rebic put together a brace.
On Saturday evening (08/13/2022) Milan prevailed 4: 2 (2: 2) against Udinese Calcio. At first the game seemed to be going in the wrong direction for the reigning champions after Rodrigo Becao’s lightning-fast lead for the visitors (2nd minute). But Theo Herndandez then confidently converted a penalty kick (11th).
Ex-Frankfurter Rebic puts together a double pack
A former Bundesliga professional turned the game around in favor of AC for just a few minutes. Ex-Frankfurt Ante Rebic scored to make it 2-1 (15th). However, Udinese managed to equalize just before the half-time whistle through Adam Masina (45+4).
After this goal, the guests in the dressing room were all the more determined to play the second half at the important time. But Milan’s Brahim Diaz shocked Udinese with the 3: 2 right after the break (46th). And Rebic put the fourth Milan goal on top (68th).
Atalanta wins against Sampdoria
Atalanta Bergamo, ex-club of German national player Robin Gosens, also cheered. Rafael Toloi (26th) and Ademola Lookman (90th + 5) scored in Bergamo’s 2-0 (1-0) win.
