Joao Félix already looks dressed in the Barça shirt, a dream that, according to the striker, he had since he was little. This is how emotional he was in his official presentation with the club, held this Saturday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
“Everyone knows how happy I am to be here. It was a dream as a child. Since I was little I watched Barça, I came here to help, to be one more and make it a great season. It’s a unique feeling, something I’ve been looking for for a long time . When I found out about the interest, I was very happy and with everyone’s effort it was achieved. I insist since I was a child, I, my father, my brother have always been Barça fans and I had this will to work to reach the highest level and here I am. That’s where the passion for this club comes from,” said Joao.
The brand new Barça signing declared that he felt very excited to achieve success this campaign: “I hope it will be a great season, that we give a lot of joy, fight for titles because this club lives on greatness. The Champions League is the title of my dreams and we will do everything to achieve it” he claimed.
The Portuguese has forced his departure from Atlético de Madrid since July, and he only had in mind becoming a new Barça player. Once the Barça team specified the necessary exits to carry out the operation, such as those of Ansu or Abde, the club gave the ‘green light’ to the agreement.
Joao Félix is already a new player for the club of his dreams.
