Tobias Gröber is saying goodbye to Messe München GmbH after 28 years.
Gröber will leave the company at the end of April to take on “a new and responsible challenge within the trade fair industry,” the trade fair company announced on Tuesday. Since 2004, he has been the division manager for the consumer goods trade fairs at Messe München and in this role, among other things, was responsible as Executive Director for the international ISPO group, including the OutDoor platform.
Stefan Rummel and Reinhard Pfeiffer, the two managing directors of Messe München, paid tribute to the outgoing manager: “We would like to thank Tobias Gröber for his extraordinary commitment, which he showed from day one at Messe München and with which he contributed to the success of our company.” , they said in a statement. “Tobias Gröber ran his trade fairs creatively, with innovative concepts and with great industry knowledge in both good and difficult times, and inspired people to do so.”
In the future, Exhibition Director Lena Haushofer and her management team will take over the management of the Ispo Group. She will report directly to Harald Kirchschlager, Executive Director Corporate Strategy at Messe München.
