Isolation Berlin celebrates “10 years of the Berlin School/Protopop”. The Berlin band will be on the road for five concerts in Germany next February and are naming this mini-tour after their debut album “And time drips on the clouds”. The album was released in 2016 and turns ten this year. At the same time, “Berliner Schule/Protopop”, an album that collected the songs from the previous EPs, was released. The nostalgic tour combines both anniversaries and looks back to the band’s beginnings.

“Nostalgia rustles in the treetops”
Isolation Berlin’s music is often described as melancholic, but it is also honest, funny and hopeful. The four musicians don’t want to put a stamp on themselves. The sound of their indie rock is edgy, but their lyrics are German poetry, but refreshingly unexpected: nostalgia rustles in the treetops and fear sits naked and shivering in the shower – they don’t speak in phrases, but in new images. Berlin is in isolation Berlin like the word in its name. With songs like “Schlachtensee” they paint the stage picture of their hometown. Now the band returns to the nostalgic sounds of their first two albums and tours across Germany with old songs in their luggage.
