Iserlohn signs national player Tim Bender

The Iserlohn Roosters have signed national player Tim Bender for the coming season in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).

The 27-year-old defender, who last played for the Nürnberg Ice Tigers, comes to Iserlohn with the experience of over 350 DEL games and four international matches for the German national team. The club from the Sauerland announced on Wednesday.

“We are delighted that we were able to attract a player of his caliber to our club. His nomination for the national team after this season is no coincidence,” explained Christian Hommel, sporting director of the Roosters.
