Natalia Grace’s case has been widely talked about for years.
Natalia Grace is a familiar name to fans of true crime. A six-part documentary series about Natalia Grace’s story has been published, among other things, on the HBO Max streaming service The Curious Case of Natalia Grace.
The girl’s case has even been described as a real-life horror movie. Natalia Grace was adopted from Ukraine to the United States. He ended up with a quick adoption from his original adoptive family Christine and by Michael Barnett to the family for the years 2010-2013.
The adoptive parents claim that over the years it has been revealed that 6-year-old Natalia was actually an adult woman who looks like a child due to her short stature.
According to them, the matter was revealed based on this behavior, as well as physical characteristics, such as hair. The adoptive parents said that Natalia was a fraud and had even tried to kill her foster parents.
The Barnetts later ended up abandoning Natalia and moving to Canada. They legally changed the girl’s age from 8 to 22, and got her her own apartment.
Michael and Kristine’s act was later investigated as child abandonment and a trial was held.

A new twist
The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks aired Wednesday on Investigation Discovery.
In the episode, a DNA test is presented, according to which Natalia is currently approximately 22 years old. So Natalia was under 10 years old when the Barnetts accused her of attempted murder.
In the episode, Natalia cries about it in front of the cameras.
– This one little piece of paper throws every lie the Barnetts tell into the trash along with the matches, Natalia says in the episode.
– They ruined a child’s life. They made me a big monster, although in reality they were the monsters themselves, Natalia continues.
