In an interview with “Music Week” Alec McKinlay, co-manager of Oasis, stated that there would be no new record. “The tour is really the last one, as Noel made clear in the press,” he said. “It is an opportunity for fans who have never seen the band to experience them now, or at least for some of them. But no, there are no plans for new music.”
The last studio album from Oasis, “Dig Out Your Soul”, was published in 2008. Afterwards, the British released a live recording (“Knebworth 1996”) in 2021, a recording of the mega concert in August 1996 at the Knebworth Festival.
