The “summer fairy tale” process against Theo Zwanziger could be stopped on Thursday.

The procedure in the summer fairy tale process against the accused ex-DFB president Theo Zwanziger could be discontinued this Thursday (10 a.m.). According to the will of the Frankfurt am Main District Court, the process of suspected severe tax evasion should be completed for a non -profit purpose against a money payment of twenties in the amount of 5,000 euros.

According to the court, twenties did not make tax evasion punishable. His lawyer and the public prosecutor’s office in Frankfurt as the plaintiff now want to comment on this. If both sides agree to the court’s proposal, the more than 10,000 pages will be closed in Germany about financial irregularities around the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

Transparency note: In a first version of the article, there was talk of the termination of the procedure.
