Paris Saint-Germain already had no use for national player Julian Draxler last season and therefore loaned him to Benfica. Now the midfielder should probably leave PSG for good.
According to information from “RMC Sport”, the 29-year-old is now even one of the undesirables in the French capital. The ex-Schalke player only completes the training with other selected players. There doesn’t seem to be any prospect of a return.
An interested party for Draxler has meanwhile allegedly already positioned himself. Crystal Palace from the Premier League are following the situation of the variable attacking player with interest. The first talks with the PSG leadership are said to have already taken place, writes “RMC Sport”.
However, the broadcaster does not expect smooth negotiations. In particular, the high salary of the right foot could become a problem. According to “L’Équipe”, the DFB star’s salary should be around seven million euros per year.
However, it cannot be ruled out that Draxler will make concessions for London. The report goes on to say that he can very well imagine moving to England. At PSG, Draxler only has one contract until the end of the season.

Draxler switched from VfL Wolfsburg to the Seine in 2017 for 36 million euros. He had previously made his breakthrough in the FC Schalke 04 jersey.
At PSG, Draxler was meanwhile one of the extended regular players. The 2014 world champion played 198 games for the top French club across all competitions.
However, PSG sorted him out last summer and gave him to Portugal. The loan to Benfica only worked to a limited extent.
In Lisbon, Draxler only made ten league appearances. It was already clear in winter that Benfica would not commit the four-time French champions.
