Thomas Müller draws it to the other side of the big pond, as he himself says. So far, experts have been moving to the USA. But it could come differently.
It is still not exactly clear which club Thomas Müller is moving to. However, the Bayern veteran recently announced on YouTube in a video: “Then it goes over the big pond.” So far it has been assumed that the offensive player would switch to the USA – but according to a report by British sports journalist Ben Jacobs, this could change.
Accordingly, Müller is said to be in conversations with the Vancouver Whitecaps from Canada. The association, like other interested parties of Müller, also plays in the Major League Soccer (MLS). There is the so -called “Discovery Right”. This means that clubs can put up to seven players on their secret “Discovery List” in the course of equal opportunities. You will then receive exclusive negotiation rights for this. However, this does not mean that the professional also changes to this club.
In the case of Müller, the MLS club FC Cincinnati has the right of first refusal. Jacobs reports that the Whitecaps want to try to buy it down to the club. The “Bild” also reports that the negotiations with Müller and the club made of Vancouver are only concerned with details. The long-time Bayern star is to receive a working paper by 2026.
The Vancouver Whitecaps is Axel Schuster sports director. He used to be a manager at Schalke 04 and Mainz 05. The Canadian international and Bavaria star Alphonso Davies also played for the whitecaps before moving to the German record champion in 2019.
