Midfield Jewel Noel Aseko is currently awarded by FC Bayern to Hannover 96 – and causes a sensation in the 2nd Bundesliga. The Lower Saxony can firmly sign the 19-year-old in the coming summer by buying an option. However, a transfer back to Munich is by no means excluded.
It was already known that the German record champion had a buyback clause for Aseko. So far, however, the sum was not clear. According to a current “picture” report, this is in the low single-digit million range.
Accordingly, it is “quite possible” that those responsible for sports director Max Eberl and sports director Christoph Freund use this option if Aseko should continue to deliver strong services and then activate the purchase clause in 96.
Born in Berlin, FC Bayern could either get the chance to present themselves in the professional squad – or the Munich team could consider selling him to another club by winning.
The fact that Hanover strikes at Aseko is currently considered very likely, especially since the purchase option should only be around one million euros.
Contract at FC Bayern runs until 2028
Since moving to the Lower Saxony capital last winter, the youngster has taken an impressive development, has been a top performer under the new 96 coach Christian Titz and has recently debut in the German U21 national team.

His two templates in the 5-0 victory in the European Championship qualification against Latvia at the beginning of September even initiated DFB coach Antonio di Salvo for a hymn of praise.
“He played a really good game, was super gift and really toxic. He has recaptured many balls in counterpressing, was totally fast, awake and repeatedly forced the game forward,” said the 46-year-old about Aseko, whose current contract at FC Bayern is still dated to 2028.
