Arjen Lubach returns tonight with a new season of his daily Evening Show. Is he going to respond to the in the first episode? juice that Yvonne Coldeweijer has spread about him?
Yvonne Coldeweijer brought spicy a few weeks ago juice about Arjen Lubach out. It started innocently – she called him rancid and shouted that he would drive past student houses in Amsterdam – but later it took on more serious forms. She linked him to transgressive behavior in the workplace. “With an intern.”
Misconduct or PR stunt?
The co-host of Yvonne’s podcast, Mark Koster, even claimed that the VPRO has launched an investigation into Arjen. According to the broadcaster, that is sheer nonsense. However, Yvonne sticks to her story. She says she has a reliable source and she hints that that source is a well-known Dutch person.
It is all very strange, says Rob Goossens. He did not rule out in RTL Boulevard that this is just a kind of PR stunt for the new season of De Avondshow with Arjen Lubach. Is that right? Will the presenter come up tonight with a big item about the working method of Yvonne and her juice colleagues? Is he behind all the juice himself?
‘Arjen tackles Yvonne’
According to the juice channel Reality FBI, Arjen will at least say something about it in his TV program tonight. “Arjen Lubach returns with his evening show. Sources around the program say he’s alluding to some ‘little bits and jokes’ around people in the juice world.”
So what should we think about? “It is unclear what will be brought, because the show will be recorded a little earlier in the evening, but this is certainly included in the script. M curious.”
Showpiece
If that’s true, then the juice channel might get the Juice Channel as well. That channel released spicy juice about Arjen last week: “We received a sound recording in which a source tells us that Arjen Lubach has tried to get an intern to his hotel room.”
“There would be an investigation into him at the VPRO, but they firmly deny this. They say there is no reason. Well, believe us, there is. The only reason they are trying to blow it over is because mister can be seen on TV again from September 5th. Of course they are not going to throw their showpiece in front of the bus.”
‘On a roll!’
There is, however, enough reason for that, according to Juice Channel. “That intern we talked about in the last one story was 16 years old! But for the time being, the VPRO says that there is no reason for an investigation. Nice work there.”
