The newspaper says that the Finn behind the program Anthony Singh faces a fine of 100,000 euros for illegal gambling advertising. According to the magazine, Singh has promoted at least one Estonian gambling company on his channels.
Gambling operators other than Veikkaus may not be marketed in mainland Finland.
According to Ilta-Sanomi, the Police Board has for the first time banned Singh from gambling advertising in 2024. At that time, Singh had to pay a fine of 30,000 euros because he did not comply with the ban.
According to Ilta-Sanom, the Police Board also sent Singh a request for clarification on the marketing of gambling last December. In March, Singh received a fine of 100,000 euros from the Police Board.
Inspector General of the Police Board Johanna Kultalahti tells Iltasanom that the Police Board is aware of the Pacthouse program.
– Basically, it is marketing against the Lotteries Act if the stream is aimed at Finns. Of course, it depends on the whole, but yes, linking and marketing that takes place in the comment field are often taken into account in these banning decisions, Kultalahti tells Ilta-Sanom.
The third season of the Pacthouse series shown on the streaming service Kick is filmed in Greece. The prize amount is 100,000 euros, and according to Ilta-Sanomi, participants are paid participation fees of up to thousands of euros.
The third season has seen, for example, reality TV star Amanda Harkimo, model Sara Chafak and entrepreneur Jethro Rostedt.
Rostedt commented on his participation in the series to Iltalehte at the end of April.
– I left when I was asked to join. I think this is a fun format. My son was involved in the previous season, Rostedt commented.
Before Pacthouse, Rostedt has not been seen in reality TV programs for a long time.
– I said no thank you. I can’t see myself On a great adventure standing on a cliff in speedos and plotting against others.
