The French fashion label IRO has appointed Nicolas Rohaut as the first creative director of the house, as the industry magazine WWD reported on Thursday. Rohaut, which previously worked for luxury brands such as Paco Rabanne and Dior, will present his first collection for the label with the 2026 resort collection in June.

IRO was founded in 2005 by the brothers Arik and Laurent Bitton and is known for his rock chic style, the Parisian and New York influences. Roaut’s task will be to give the brand new swing and at the same time maintain the use of iconic materials such as leather and denim. “I want to convey a new message for IRO,” the designated creative director told WWD.
