Kodaline, consisting of Steve Garrigan, Vincent May, Mark Prendergast and Jason Boland, was formed in Dublin in 2012. Their 2013 debut album In a Perfect World reached number one in Ireland and number three in the UK. The band has since performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, Sziget and Reading & Leeds.
In a video on Instagram, the band expressed “mixed feelings” about the decision to quit. “What we shared with you changed our lives forever,” the group said. Kodaline released a total of four studio albums. No details have yet been announced about the planned fifth and final album.
