TEHRAN (dpa-AFX) – Iran says it has summoned all ambassadors from European countries in response to the EU decision to classify the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization. “Yesterday and today, all European countries and EU member states with embassies in Tehran were summoned to the Foreign Ministry,” said Foreign Office spokesman Ismail Baghai at a press conference. It was the “minimum” and further reactions would follow.
Parliament reacts to EU decision on Revolutionary Guards
Parliament President Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf had already declared on Sunday that the European armies would henceforth be viewed as terrorist organizations. He referred to a law from 2019.
