iO Donna’s travels: from New York to Iceland, “tailor-made” emotions

THEThe foliage colors the parks and, after the Thanksgiving Day parade, you begin to feel the festive atmosphere. New York before Christmas is beautiful.

All the more reason to discover it from November 25th to December 1st, in the company of Mario Cinellideputy director of iO Donna. A visit to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and the Statue of Liberty is a must.

The Northern Lights in Iceland

From the navel of the US world to the powerful nature ofIceland, island of fire and ice, volcanoes and geysers. In the company of Justine Bellavitaweb editor-in-chief of iO Donna, from 6 to 10 December, with a bit of luck you can also witness the incredible nighttime show of the Northern Lights.

The stops on the tour are all iconic: glacial lake Jökulsárlón dotted with icebergs with incredible blue shades and the spectacular diamond beach, where large pieces of ice shine on the black volcanic sand.

Also famous is the long black beach of Reynisfjara, with its stacks. If a little black head emerges from the water, it’s just a curious seal. Icelanders and tourists, however, dive into the Sky Lagoon (temperature between 38° and 40° C), geothermal infinity pool, by the sea. Unforgettable.
