Finally, the signs between Hasan Ismaik and 1860 Munich were actually at farewell. But now the entrepreneur has apparently suddenly changed.

Next turn in years between Hasan Ismaik and 1860 Munich. Finally, the entrepreneur from Jordan actually wanted to sell his shares in the club – but now the businessman suddenly strikes completely different tones. Despite the other statements, the majority shareholder apparently does not want to sell his shares in the club.

In a written notification to the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, Ismaik said on Friday: “I will continue with the club and soon meet with the president and his deputies to discuss the plan for the next season, the stadium and the gym.”

With a view to the past developments, he expressed sharp criticism of two former club managers. Reisinger and Bay, according to Ismaik, have “all lied to”. This means ex-President Robert Reisinger and former Vice President Karl Christian Bay.

On request, the Munich-based football team initially made no official statement on the message. Much had recently hired that Ismaik would sell its shares in 1860. At the beginning of July, the traditional club itself announced that a sale to a Swiss entrepreneur was imminent – the news triggered great relief for many fans.

But it will not happen. As “Munich Merkur” and “TZ” report, the planned deal failed.

The statement at that time even contained a direct quote from Hasan Ismaik: “I am very happy to hand over the relay wood to someone who can help the club so much.” Just a day later, the then President Robert Reisinger said at the general meeting that Ismaik had “no more relevance” for the club.

But now Ismaik remains. Since its entry into 2011, his time in the 1960s has been characterized by conflicts, standstill and recurring dispute. For almost a decades and a half, the investor significantly determined the developments related to the club – now an uncertain future is facing again.
