The Investigative Committee for the Kemerovo Region opened a criminal case over a fire in a boarding house for the elderly, where, according to preliminary data, four people died. About it it says on the website of the department.
“A criminal case has been initiated on the basis of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence), ”the message says. The maximum punishment under this article is imprisonment for ten years.
