The 73-year-old man was found last Wednesday at his home in Molenweg in Izegem. The public prosecutor’s office assumes murder and has requested an investigating judge for murder. A medical examiner was appointed to make the initial findings and the laboratory also arrived on site for trace evidence.
The investigation is ongoing, but the public prosecutor’s office has not yet revealed how exactly the man died.
