Intruder wanted to tie up Nancy Pelosi and “break her kneecaps” | Abroad

The man who attacked the husband of US politician Nancy Pelosi on Friday has been charged with assault and attempted kidnapping. David DePape (42) could face up to 50 years in prison.

The man broke into Pelosi’s home in San Francisco and was looking for the Speaker of the House of Representatives. She was not at home, but her husband was. Paul Pelosi was attacked with a hammer and, according to his wife, would have had surgery for a skull fracture.

Prosecutors have collected tape, string and other materials as evidence, illustrating that the burglar intended to tie up Nancy Pelosi and “break her kneecaps,” the police report said. DePape would say “where’s Nancy?” when he found only Paul.

According to the family, Paul is doing a little better and will probably make a full recovery.

LOOK. America correspondent and son-in-law of Pelosi Michiel Vos told VTM News about the burglary at his parents-in-law and how there is already talk in America about a possible civil war.
