Introduction of the Environment and Planning Act to 1 July 2023

For a careful implementation of the Environment and Planning Act, more time is needed to practice, test and provide additional support to competent authorities. That is why Minister De Jonge (Public Housing and Spatial Planning), provinces, municipalities and water boards have opted for a limited postponement of the effective date. That will be July 1, 2023, instead of January 1, 2023.
