Intersport International: Katja Adrienne Erbe takes on management positions in the private label segment

The sports retail association Intersport International Corp. (IIC) has appointed a new executive for its private label business. On Thursday, the Bern, Switzerland-based company announced that Katja Adrienne Erbe will take over as General Manager Exclusive Brands Commercial in March. She succeeds Jessica Mair and, together with Susanne Nanouche, General Manager Operations, and the existing team, will ensure the “sustainable success” of the exclusive Intersport brands.

Erbe has been with the Intersport Group since 2018. During this time she held various management roles, including General Manager Europe of the former subsidiary The Athlete’s Foot and responsible for strategic projects. In April 2019, Erbe was appointed Head of Category Management at Intersport Germany.

Before moving to Intersport, she spent more than 17 years at the German sporting goods group Adidas AG. There, Erbe worked, among other things, as Head of Global Channel Management, Senior Brand Director DACH for the Reebok brand and most recently as Senior Sales Director for the Eastern Europe region.
