Singaporean authorities have requested the help of Interpol to reach a Finnish millionaire living in the city-state of Thomas Zilliacus.
The former Nokia boss came back into the limelight last year when he entered the race to own Manchester United. When the Glazer family, which manages the British club, did not want to negotiate with the Finn, Zilliacus transferred his interest to Inter Milan.
Right now, he has a lot to clear up about his YuuZoo company. According to the indictment, the social media company would have given false information.
Zilliacus is currently not in Singapore and according to newspaper reports, he would have refused to return. In addition to him, the charge also applies to YuuZoo’s financial boss Michael Parker and Anthony Williams of the management team and Ozi Amanatia.
– We want to question them all. In addition, Interpol has sent a red alert for YuuZoo CEO Zilliacus, the police informed.
A red alert obliges the authorities of all countries to apprehend the target.
According to the indictment, YuuZoo has tried to inject inflated earnings with millions of dollars. Many investors would therefore have put money into the company based on false information.
Zilliacus founded YuuZoo in 2008.
