International Music will play on August 22nd in the Festsaal Kreuzberg – their only club show of the year.

International Music have announced a concert in the capital: On August 22, 2026, the Essen band will play in the Kreuzberg Festival Hall. The evening is presented by MUSIKEXPRESS. It is one of only three gigs confirmed by the group so far this year.

There are only two more appearances on the calendar before the Berlin date: on June 19th at the Traumzeit Festival in Duisburg and on July 30th at the Waldstock Open Air Spektakel in Steinhausen, Switzerland. The show in the Festsaal Kreuzberg is likely to remain the band’s only regular club concert in 2026.

“Are you coming to sweat and sing with us?”

International Music commented on the gig announcement on Instagram with the words: “BERLIN! Surprise! We’ve been wondering for a long time where we want to play live this year. Then Festsaal Kreuzberg came up with this date and we said: YES!”

It goes on to say: “Are you coming with us to sweat and sing and party in the middle of summer? Then have a cold beer on the steaming asphalt in the dark.”

The band also announced that 6regor would open the evening. Advance sales for the concert have already begun.

“Endless Rüttenscheid” remains the current release

With the concert, International Music continues the live phase surrounding their current album “Endless Rüttenscheid”. The record was released in September 2024 after the debut “The Best Years” (2018) and the successor “Ententraum” (2021) and absolutely logically continued the band’s sound, which is somewhere between Krautrock, indie pop and psychedelia.

ME author Thomas Winkler wrote about the album, among other things: “The masters of the indefinite send indie hymns into endless reverberations and reach new depths of knowledge.” You can watch it live, right?
