International Energy Agency predicts China’s reopening is biggest threat to gas price

The reopening of the Chinese economy after the strict corona measures can push up gas prices. Demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) in China could increase by a tenth to a third, the International Energy Agency (IEA) expects. And that can lead to increasing competition with Europe over the scarce quantity of this gas.
