JYSK already has more than 3,600 branches, but still sees room for additional stores. “We want to be even closer to our customers, especially in European capitals and other important cities,” says CEO Rami Jensen.
Until now, JYSK stores were mainly located on the outskirts of the city because there is more space for warehouses and parking spaces. In the cities the stores will be somewhat smaller in terms of surface area, but JYSK still wants to offer the full range.
Locations of Cora
By the end of August, the company wants to have opened 30 new stores in major cities. The remaining 70 will follow by the summer of 2028.
JYSK now has 78 stores in Belgium. The ambition is to have at least 125. The company will open stores in the coming months in seven locations where Cora supermarkets used to be. Two of them are in Brussels.
