Inter is serious about the Gladbach star

Gladbach star Marcus Thuram advertised himself with his convincing joker appearances at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. That’s what Inter Milan is said to have called into action. According to media reports, the top Italian club is considering a transfer – in the coming weeks.

Will Borussia Mönchengladbach give up their star striker Marcus Thuram in winter? The transfer window is fast approaching and speculation is becoming more concrete. Most recently, Inter Milan was traded as a potential buyer for Thuram alongside FC Bayern and Manchester United. Now the runner-up in Serie A is apparently serious.

According to the “Gazzetta dello Sport”, Inter has an offer for Thuram up its sleeve that should convince the French runner-up to move to Milan in the upcoming transfer phase.

According to the report, the Nerazzurri have already arranged a meeting with Thuram’s advisers. Accordingly, Inter wants to have improved its salary offer.

Gladbach’s pain threshold should be twelve million euros

Thuram, who was born in Parma, has been playing for Gladbach since 2019. With ten goals and four assists, the striker is one of the top scorers in the Bundesliga after 15 matchdays.

Thuram made five appearances for France at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and provided two assists. Among other things, he gave the pass to Kylian Mbappé to equalize 2-2 in the World Cup final against Argentina, which the Équipe Tricolore lost 5-7 on penalties.

Thuram’s contract in Gladbach expires in the summer. According to media reports, an extension is ruled out. Gladbach’s sports director Roland Virkus would be reluctant to give up the attacker, especially since the contracts of goalkeeper Yann Sommer and full-back Ramy Bensebaini are expiring and the club could lose three top performers for free.

However, Virkus would probably agree to a suitable offer. The pain threshold for Thuram, who can also be used on the left flank, should therefore be twelve million euros.
