Many noticed this lack, given that Becca’s favorite team was at the Olimpico, with arm mourning requested by the Lega Serie A and normally authorized.

However, the Federation decides on the pre-match gatherings of former players, based on a precise internal policy: the custom is that a minute’s silence is automatically granted on all pitches for those who have worn the blue shirt (the former Inter playmaker, however, never played for the national team). In other cases like this, however, a request from the clubs may arise, as was done immediately by Lecco, of which Evaristo was president from 2014 to 2016. Inter will, however, pay homage to their champion next Sunday at home, before the match against Verona and the following presentation of the Scudetto trophy: it will be a historic day to dedicate the trophy to Beccalossi. Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu also spoke about the day’s case from the Olimpico: “The minute’s silence? I’m not able to do it, but ever since we learned of his passing we have always thought of him. I’m just saying that losing a loved one, who wrote the history of Inter, regrets us: we offer our condolences to the family and to the entire Nerazzurri world.”
