The two tradition clubs of Noord-Holland: AFC and Koninklijke HFC played 2-2 on Saturday afternoon. At Sportpark Good, a few hundred spectators saw an entertaining first half with four hits and after the break both teams were less sharp for the enemy goal.
With a beautiful goal, Wessel Been opened the score on behalf of AFC. A minute later it was already right. Jan Muller moved into a cross at the second post. Moments later, the team from Haarlem took the lead. Xander van den Burg shot the 1-2 against the ropes from a distance, although that was mainly due to Gijs van Zetten. The goalie of AFC blundered flashy. In the end, Milan Hoek took care of the 2-2 final score. The captain of the Amsterdammers did that from the penalty spot, after Splinter de Mooij was knocked out.
Stand
Due to the equal game, AFC remains the number 4 of the Second Division. The difference with leader Rijnsburgse Boys is 5 points. Royal HFC is in an almost safe 9th place in the middle bracket.
