Amsterdam, February 17th, 2022 – G-Star RAW today launches the new Exclusives by G-Star RAW collection. A distinctive collection whose styles fully represent the boundless creativity of the Dutch denim brand. This season, sophisticated designs are once again presented, expressing the G-Star DNA in its purest, most extroverted form. For the first time, the campaign looks were staged in front of the camera by up-and-coming young actor Langston Uibel.
The Berlin-based acting talent is known for his work in the Netflix hits “Unorthodox” and “How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast)”. Having been nominated for the Young Icon Award in recent years, Langston Uibel is well on his way to becoming a fixture on the international film scene.
Inspired by the Dakar Rally
The G-Star RAW design team has evolved its “Exclusives by G-Star RAW” collection into a series of new high-end specials. This season, the extreme designs are inspired by the Dakar Rally. They are modeled after the heavy-duty “Enduro” gear specifically designed for the demanding motorsport world. The bold and complex garments each contain surprising elements and unusual silhouettes that combine with ease of wear. The desert-inspired color palette includes soft pastels with lighter greens and pinks, and is ready for the upcoming spring season.
Japanese work clothes
In addition, the RAW Research Capsule underlines the true G-Star DNA. The design team experimented with denim-based garments to create sophisticated and sophisticated styles with a considered, conceptual approach. The inspiration for this season comes from Japanese workwear, which represents an uncompromising and unique style.

Superior construction techniques, premium fabrics and hybrid design features aim to reflect the story behind each piece in the collection. High fashion trench coat
This versatile women’s trench coat is the ideal, timeless piece for spring. The voluminous sleeves are inspired by 1930s haute couture, giving it a classic yet modern look. Quality details play a big part in the garment’s construction: a tie belt at the waist, two-layer fabrics for extreme weather, a stand-out collar and a button-through placket.
GSRR Selvedge 3D A-Cropped Bootcut Jeans
These women’s 3D A-cropped jeans are inspired by the iconic G-Star Elwood jeans. It consists of two types of denim: 100% Japanese Kaiyo denim cotton combined with a 100% cotton drill twill in a contrasting color that stands out at the waist and heel. The jeans offer a roomy fit with a bootcut leg where a woven tape reinforces the seams on the inside of the legs.
Bomber E
The “Bomber E” has a relaxed fit, a detachable hood and a woven band at the waist. The voluminous bomber is inspired by the haute couture movement of the 1930s. The hood features an extended panel that covers the upper shoulders for optimal protection. The padded jacket has zip pockets at the waist and a wide flap pocket on the chest. The oversized 3D sleeves are reinforced with a woven band along the seam and multiple pleats at the elbow that add extra detail to the silhouette.

E 72H jumpsuit
This jumpsuit is inspired by vintage life jackets from the G-Star RAW archive. It has been equipped with enough pockets for 72 hours of travel needs and has a large 3D pocket in the neck area. Other distinctive details include a multitude of deep, utility-style pockets, elasticated collar and hem for ease of movement, and contrasting herringbone trims. The tapered fit at the bottom of the leg is inspired by Japanese workwear. The garment is made from a high quality blend of fabrics consisting of a mix of Japanese denim
E Washed Leather Jacket
Inspired by the Dakar Rally, this jacket has been crafted with a typical biker fit. The seams have been moved further inwards to create an oversized look and increase freedom of movement. The jacket is made from high-quality white leather that gives a modern twist to the classic. The outstanding features include the movement pleats on the back, the 3D pockets on the sleeves, the contrasting herringbone tape along the zippers and the high-quality mesh lining.
E 24H lifejacket shirt jacket
Inspired by technical wear, this garment has been designed with enough pockets to carry the essentials for a 24-hour journey. Inspired by vintage life jackets from the G Star RAW archive, the shirt has been crafted in a soft army green. The life jacket shirt is an alternative to the everyday jacket, with eye-catching details and a lightweight and functional fit. Made from a high-quality material mix with a large 3D pocket in the neck and pencil pockets on the back of the sleeves.
