VfB Stuttgart will probably have to do without Angelo Stiller for the time being. The national player injured himself in the training camp.
In the training camp of VfB Stuttgart, midfielder Angelo Stiller has injured the left ankle and will probably be out for the time being. According to the club, the 24-year-old suffered the ligament injury during a unit in the afternoon in Rottach-Egern. Further investigations should show how severe the injury is actually. MRI recordings are also planned to take place on Thursday.
The “Zeitungslag Waiblingen” had previously reported on the injury. Accordingly, Stiller got stuck in an exercise in the lawn and was then treated in the fitness tent on the training ground. He hit his hands in front of his face.
Already on the penultimate matchday last season, Stiller had injured his left ankle. In the DFB Cup final against Arminia Bielefeld won, the defensive midfielder was used, but subsequently had to cancel the national team and did not travel to the Nations League final.
VfB is still in the training camp on Lake Tegernsee until August 2.
