Bundesliga professional Alex Kral from 1. FC Union Berlin has to miss the trip to the Czech national football team.
As his club announced on Monday, the 25-year-old was injured in the defeat in Dortmund (2:4) on Saturday and has to take a break for the time being. Union did not provide any information about the type of injury or the length of the downtime.
The Czechs will compete in the European Championship qualifiers on Thursday in Albania and on Sunday at home against the Faroe Islands. In Group E, the Czech Republic is in second place with eight points behind Albania (10), but has played one fewer game.
