Around 6.30 pm the police received a report of a stabbing on the Veemarkt in Hoorn. One person was injured. The victim is now in the hospital, nothing is known about his condition.
Two suspects
A police spokesperson reports that prior to the stabbing might have been a fight. A car with broken windows can be seen on images, there is blood on the side of the car.
Shortly after the stabbing, the police arrested two suspects in the vicinity of the Veemarkt. The police don’t want to say anything about their identity. They are currently being interrogated at the police station.
The police are further investigating the stabbing and viewing camera images of the immediate area. People who have seen or heard something are asked to report to the police.
