Two cars collided this afternoon in Assen, at the intersection between Europaweg-Noord and Groningerstraat. Both cars suffered significant damage.
Emergency services quickly arrived to check all occupants. One of the drivers was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
It is not known how the accident could happen.
