In Barger-Compascuum, a pedestrian was injured tonight by a collision. The man was taken to the hospital by an ambulance.
Around half past seven things went wrong on the extended Oosterdiep Westzijde. The pedestrian was hit by the car and ended up against the windshield. Carnival lovers and other bystanders took care of the victim until the emergency services arrived.
