Someone was injured in an accident between two cars on the Laan van de Bork in Emmen this evening. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road was completely closed to other traffic after the accident. A second ambulance also came to the accident site, but according to a bystander, another person involved in the accident escaped unharmed.
It is not clear exactly how the accident happened.
