Two cars collided on the Verlengde Scholtenskanaal in Emmer-Compascuum at the end of the afternoon. A passenger was injured and had to be taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The impact caused one of the cars involved to lose a rear wheel. In addition, there were various parts on the road surface. The road is therefore closed to traffic for some time.
