Industrial fire at Sint-Eloois-Vijve causes stench

The fierce fire broke out in a grain processing company, Michiels Factories nv, in the Vijvestraat in Zulte. It is located in the industrial zone not far from the Leie, near the lock of Sint-Eloois-Vijve. Anyone who suffers from smoke or a burning smell is advised to close windows and doors and to turn off ventilation.
