A number of players from the first team will leave the club. Yet Nolten is positive. “Several players from the current selection have, like the technical staff, simply said that they want to put ‘the shoulders under it’ in the 1st division. There is therefore a great selection, with an excellent youth education behind it,” says Nolten.
The club from Heerhugowaard promoted to the Eredivisie in 2002 and has since taken three national titles. It also won the cup seven times and five times the Supercup.
