Indian Wells will welcome the first Masters 1000 of the season on the ATP circuit, with a luxurious poster. In it will be the great names of world tennis, waiting to see if Novak Djokovic can finally competealthough everything indicates that it will not be so.

The attention in the men’s team will be focused on a Rafa Nadal who wants to extend his sensational start to the season with wins in Melbourne, Australian Open and Acapulco. To continue making history and lift his fourth title of the season, the path that the Balearic Islands will have is not exactly a path of roses. After making it through the first round as the top seed, he will see them with the American Korda in second. A debut that is not comfortable at all for the Balearic.

After that, the hypothetical table for Rafa until the final would be the following: Daniel Evans in the 3rd round, Shapovalov in the 4th, Casper Ruud in the quarters, Medvedev in the semis and Zverev or Djokovic in the final. High level names on a hard road to conquer the first Masters 1000 of the year.

Alcaraz facing a major challenge

For Carlos Alcaraz luck has not been better. The Murcian will face a high-voltage team before which he has the opportunity to demonstrate his reality for the umpteenth time on the circuit and show the world that the current ‘Top 20’ is a small milestone in his career.

Alcaraz will debut in the second round against the winner of the Fuscovics-Mcdonald, in which a first battle is presented before the start of the war. Basutista is presented as the hypothetical rival in the 3rd round, to continue with a table in which he would see Medvedev in the 4th round, Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals and Rafa Nadal in the semifinalsbefore reaching a final in which there would be Zverev or Djokovic, if the Serb ends up participating.
